Meet Kirsten

Hi, I’m Kirsten and I’m a celebrant who loves love. I’m passionate about connecting with people to create a truly beautiful ceremony!

I have officiated at over 2000 weddings, having worked at the Marriage Registry in Melbourne before becoming a private celebrant. I’m based in Bendigo, and have performed ceremonies all over Victoria including Castlemaine, Melbourne, and surrounding areas. I’m also happy to travel further afield if you are planning a destination wedding, and to help bring your ideas to life with an out-of-the-ordinary request for your wedding day.

Over the last decade, I have encountered so many people from different walks of life, and I love hearing the unique stories of how couples meet and fall in love. Together we will create a deeply personal ceremony that is tailored exactly to your wishes. We can keep a balance between having fun while still honouring the gravitas of the occasion.

My calm and caring manner means you can relax and enjoy the process as I guide you professionally through the preparations for your big day.

Along with celebrating marriages, I paint and teach mosaic in my studio in Castlemaine. I embrace all cultures and traditions, and cherish tying the knot for same sex couples as well. I’m happy to meet with you in person or online for an initial chat so you can see if I’m the right celebrant for you. Together we’ll craft a ceremony that is truly “heart held”.
