Look at the profiles of our fantastic celebrants. Please feel free to ask them how to create an idyllic ceremony that is individually tailored for you!
Funerals
A funeral celebrant is the main host of a funeral or a celebration of life, and it is their role to officiate the service. They are there to be your point of support and guidance from the first meeting until the end of the service. Your celebrant will spend time understanding your wishes and take charge of the timing of the service so everyone is comfortable and not rushed on the day.

Funeral celebrants give you the freedom to create a tribute to your loved one, incorporating any elements you would like to personalise the ceremony. Our celebrants are experienced in crafting a ceremony that helps friends and family to find some solace at this difficult time. Perhaps you’re looking for an alternative funeral celebrant? Funerals can be entirely void of any religious element or can bring in a spiritual or faith-based massage. Or you may just be looking for someone more down-to-earth?

A modern funeral celebrant will suit your family as someone who can deliver an emotional, heartfelt a ceremony, sharing what is important to you.
Naming Ceremonies
Simply put, a naming day is a symbolic celebration that does not require a permit and has no legalities.

A naming ceremony can take any format that you choose. It can be a simple welcome to the world, a formal naming of your child, or a blessing for your baby and family. It is also a time for you to make certain promises and commitments to your child.

You can ask other important people in your child’s life to pledge their support to be your child’s guardian parent, odd parent, mentor parent, God-free parent or good parent.

A naming ceremony is often held at around the same time as the baby’s first birthday party. Ask a celebrant for interesting ways to create a unique ceremony that will engage adults and children alike.

Fun activities:
  • Signing a naming certificate
  • Creating a time capsule or memory box
  • Tree-planting
  • Planting seeds or bulbs
  • Bubbles – makes for fun photos
  • Wishing tree
  • Sign a guest book
  • Video messages of good wishes for your baby to watch in the future
  • Group finger painting canvas
  • Cake smash

Ask our celebrants about their Naming Day services.
MC & Events
Ask your celebrant about their emcee services. Eliminate the stress from one of your wedding guests being responsible for this role, and take the pressure off you so you can focus on your evening. Your celebrant will keep the event on track as they already know you and understand your needs. The emcee’s job is to make sure the evening proceeds as smoothly as possible, balancing the formalities and injecting some fun. Too much of either makes for a cringe-worthy wedding experience for everyone.

Typical emcee duties:
  • greet & welcome the guests
  • announce the entrance of the wedding party into the reception
  • make introductions
  • announce the cutting of the cake
  • focus guest attention to special moments and people

Celebrants can host, present and write a ceremony script for any other significant celebration such as
  • anniversaries
  • birthdays
  • graduations
  • vow renewals
